Sunday was the start of the World Series of poker Tournament of Champions, the All-Star event of poker. Present is the Who's Who of Poker: Brunson, Cloutier, Negreanu, Joe Hachem, Duke, Grospellier, Esfandiari, Ivey, Lederer, Hellmuth, Sexton, seeds, Harman, Farha, Ferguson, Drop, Chan, Cunningham, Barry Greenstein, Harrington, Juanda, Matusow, Raymer, Nguyen, Seidel, and Shulman. After one hour, the first poker star has to leave when John Juanda and Jennifer Harman clashed. Juanda is all-in after the river card is dealt and gets called by Harman after some time. Shortly after the first break of the day, the second player must leave the tables - Greg Raymer (against Mike "The Mouth" Matusow).

After the exit of the current WSOP-Europe Main Event champion - Barry Shulman, it was time for Sam Farha, who recently added another WSOP bracelet to his collection. In the TOC, however, he did not have very lucky cards.

The last player who had to throw in the towel for the day was the superstar of poker, Phil Ivey. He was beaten by none other than Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, after Ivey's pocket kings did not stand against Ferguson's pocket queens.

After some raises before the flop, Ivey goes All-in, Ferguson makes the call. The board shows and . Fergusons's triple queens prevail against the kings. That's poker.
