Huck Seed wins the Tournament of Champions
On Sunday, the Tournament of Champions continued. 17 remaining Pokerstars were still in the running. Mike Matusow, the chip leader of Day 2, did not get the start he wanted. He crashed soon after Allen Cunningham, who was the first to go.
After that exit it was blow by blow - Scotty Nguyen, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Antonio Esfandiari, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson and Phil Hellmuth all were eliminated in short time.
In the end it was Huck Seed and Howard Lederer. After about an hour of heads-up play, Seed, the WSOP Main Event winner from 1996, prevailed.
