Events #20-25 WSOP 2010

Event # 25 Charismatic Sam Farha, native of Lebanon, won the Omaha High-Low, and thus his third WSOP bracelet. In the final heads-up he defeated James Dempsey, from Brighton, UK. The heads-up lasted more than four hours - one of the longest Omaha High-Low Split duels in the history of poker.

Event # 24 Jeff Tebben gets his first WSOP bracelet by winning the $ 1000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Championship. His triumph was inspired by his good friend Grant Hinkle, who won a bracelet in 2008. Hinkle, who often plays poker with Tebben and their friends in private, encouraged his friend to come to Las Vegas to play a couple of events at the World Series of Poker. This has now paid off handsomely for Tebben, taking home $ 503,389 for first place.

Event # 23 Russ 'Dutch' Boyd was the winner of the $ 2,500 buy-in Six-Handed Limit Hold'em at the World Series of Poker 2010. He captured his second gold bracelet. Boyd, a poker pro from Columbia, MO, now living in Las Vegas, conceded an amount of $ 234,000 for his victory.

Event # 22 Vanessa Hellebuyck was the winner of the $ 1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Ladies Championship. She not only took her first gold bracelet, it was also the first time she landed in the money at the WSOP.

Event # 21 Richard Ashby won the $ 1,500 buy-in Seven-Card Stud and his first gold bracelet. In the final stage of the tournament he had to deal with tough competition, like the former WSOP Event winners Dan Heimiller and Alexander Kravchenko. Ashby collected a prize of $ 140,000 for his win. But perhaps even more significant is that his name will go down in WSOP history.

Ashby, 38, is primarily an online player, specializing in cash games. He lives in Watford, England. Ashby has finished nine times in the money since 2003.

Event # 20 John "Tex" Barch was the winner of the $ 1,500 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha event. This marked his first win of a gold bracelet. Barch is perhaps best known for his appearance at the final table in the 2005 WSOP Main Event where he finished third. Joe Hachem won the Main Event that year.
