Last week, at the Hotel Straf, PokerStars.it unveiled their new Ambassador Gianluigi Buffon.

The famous Italian football goalkeeper is the protagonist of the new advertising campaign for PokerStars.it, the first poker room in Italy. The new advertising campaign starts in early June.

The liaison between world’s poker room n.1 and Buffon was born not only by the passion with which the goalkeeper plays on PokerStars.it, but also because of the characteristics that link poker and sport. Training, mental focus and sense of challenge permeate the players, wether on a soccer field or around the green table. Adrenaline to unleash the soul, one that goes looking for the victory. Gigi Buffon - the only player able to wear the shirt with the number one on the back - between the two "woods" or with two cards in hand!
